Actually they can be more fucked up than the rest of us. In 1899 Sigmund Freud had a new telephone number: 14362. He was 43 years old at the time, and was deeply disturbed by the digits of the new number. He believed that it meant that he would die at age 61 (note the one and six that surround the 43) or, at most, at age 62 (the last two digits of the number). He clung painfully to this strange belief for many years. Presumably he was forced to revise his estimate on his 63rd birthday.
