China has banned from this Saturday the export of steel and other metals to North Korea and has limited the oil and refined petroleum products to that country, in line with the resolutions of the UN Security Council, announced the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. The Ministry has announced the total ban on the sale of “iron, steel and other metals, industrial machinery and transport vehicles” to Pyongyang. In addition, the export of crude oil may not exceed four million barrels.
